This stylish beach house at Buckletons Bay provides beachfront holiday accommodation for year-round relaxation and recreation just north of Auckland. Overlooking Kawau Bay the house is centrally located for trips in the Matakana region, including Leigh, Omaha, Sandspit, Warkworth, Scott’s Landing and Matakana itself.

The house is wonderful for couples, great for a family or two, and can sleep up to eight people. It is secluded, with sea views framed by pohutukawa trees. In winter relax by the logburner; in summer stay cool with gentle sea breezes. Buckletons beach is sandy, safe, great for swimming at any tide and just 50m from the house. It is easy to launch boats off the beach at any tide. In the summer small boat sailing is popular, and people head out in their speedboats fishing or to visit the more remote beaches of Kawau Bay. The bay is fantastic for shoreline and estuary kayaking adventures. Two sit-on kayaks are available for your use, with life jackets.
